PowerQuote lets you set rates for up to 6 digital presses or printers. Your choice of 3 different estimating methods for each press, variable data, file handling, and online bindery estimating.

Choose cost-per-click, budgeted hourly rate, or price grid estimating methods. You can partially combine these techniques too.

Digital Booklet Estimating

Finally a system that can estimate digital booklets without the constraints of offset production. PowerQuote allows you to break away from the production department mentality of offset and estimate from a "file in - booklet out" perspective.

Stores quotes and jobs

Once a price is calculated, you can store it as a quote, make a written quote to present to your customer or enter the job into production by printing a job ticket.

Written quotes

Professional quotes using your word processor with no retyping! Customizable templates can add your logo or other headers and footers automatically

Email quotes

Integrates with most email programs including Outlook on Windows XP and OS X Mail.

Job reorders

Each job is filed in the customer's job history after invoicing. For customer reorders, just pull it from the history without retyping.

Estimating templates

Every job is a template! Any job done in the past can be retrieved from the history of jobs and used as is for a rerun or as a starting point for a new similar job.

"Learns" your papers

You can easily select from up to 800 standard papers when calculating a price on a job, or input a new paper. Don't have time to sit down and type in all the paper prices? As you calculate estimates, just press the learn button and PowerQuote will add (learn) the paper to the standard papers file. Can import paper info from the Xpedx printer's product guide

Production schedule

PowerQuote prints a list of all the jobs in production, by department and sorted in order of due date. The press production time, ink requirement, paper, and gripper edge are all listed. Now it's easy to save on setups and washups!

Paper order

The paper requirements for each job are calculated including makeready/spoilage and accumulated. The paper order shows both the parent sheet and cut size requirements so that you can choose to have the paper company cut the stock when you are "too busy".

Job cost

The calculation summary window shows the sell price of the job, a breakdown of charges by department and the calculated cost of the job. The display of job cost may be turned on or off as preference set my the manager.

Customer discount/upcharge

Some customers require greater customer service and others are price sensitive or buy frequently. You can assign a different discount or surcharge to each customer! Of course you can easily bypass this feature.
