PowerQuote Demonstrates Leadership at Graphics Canada 2003

Toronto ON- Printers from both Canada and US came to see what the latest technology could do for the management of their printing operations. Traffic increased each day with the highest traffic and largest crowds on Saturday. Although PowerQuote’s booth was located near the back of Hall 2, the new PowerQuote 10.05 software solidly claimed it’s place at the forefront of estimating and management systems for small and medium size printers.

PowerQuote attracted large crowds for their PowerQuote 10.05 release. The company has been shipping Mac OS X native systems since June 1 2003. The latest release, shown at Graphics Canada includes Panther compatibility and the ability to handle all the Canadian taxes such as PST, GST, and HST.

PowerQuote's state-of-the-art OS X Panther compatible system was in stark contrast to offerings of others who had discontinued their Mac product or were still shipping systems that were not designed for current computer operating systems.

Visitors were impressed by PowerQuote’s ease of use. Many felt they could use the software after seeing a 20 minute presentation. They prefer the intuitive interface of PowerQuote over more complicated systems that suggest the purchase of a 2 day seminar to learn their complicated operation.

In a new trend, more prospects inquired about support. They were impressed by PowerQuote’s full year of support including updates. This is twice as long as some other’s provide and the support is more comprehensive.

Graphics Canada marked the trade show debut of PowerQuote Lite and the new PowerQuote rental plan. Show attendees crowded into the booth, eager to learn about both offerings. Bruce Moore President of PowerQuote said, “The Canadian market is hot for us right now and we are being well received by in-plants, schools and commercial printers”.
